Enjoy Your Stay In Fucking, Austria
TIL that there’s an actual town in Austria called “Fucking”. So this is is what I decided to do with my time. The residents are currently discussing changing their unfortunate (or hell, fortunate name, depending on how you look at it) name to something less well… fucking. Seems when the name of your town is a word we all snicker at as we’re collectively as a society 13 years old, maturation-wise, people tend to take pictures near the town signs while either simulating fucking or just straight up fucking. I fail to see the problem here but I guess they’re sick at looking at tourists’ butts. Note that the top sign translates to: “Fucking. Please, not so fast!”
